How Can You Increase Your Faith?

Faith is acting on your belief of things not seen that are true. The act of faith in God and Jesus Christ harnesses the power to move your mountains.

Faithful Prayers of One and Many

Maybe you don’t need faith the size of a mustard seed to move actual mountains. But you might need faith the size of a dust particle to shift what you consider your “mountain.” Your individual act of prayer can do that.

Your mountain might seem small to others, but it matters to you; and if it matters to you, it matters to God. Your mountain might also appear to be a mountain in the eyes of others, and their faith and prayers will add to yours — increasing the power of that faith for miracles to happen.

Faith Requires Action

James describes in the Bible how faith without works is dead; faith without action doesn’t do anything.

The Epistle to the Hebrews in Chapter 11 of the New Testament of the Bible provides a great summary of examples of faith being exercised and the work needed. The chapter begins:

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

And continues on to give an example of every faithful servant from the Old Testament: Abel, Enoch, Noah, Abraham and…
